What are Pallet Positions?

Inside of a warehouse where pallets of products are stacked on shelving units

At Forte Frozen, we’re proud to offer cold storage and e-commerce fulfillment services at each of our five locations across the United States. And, within each of these locations, we offer a large number of pallet positions for e-commerce businesses to store their products in a temperature-controlled environment. But what exactly do we mean when we talk about pallet positions?

Simply put, a pallet position is a quantifiable term regarding how much inventory our warehouses have the capacity to hold. Between all of our warehouses, there’s 8 million cubic feet of storage space with over 80,000 pallet positions. That’s a lot of space for lots of products!

The main benefit of using pallets for storage is the fact that it allows us to store more products in a smaller area, but in a safe and secure manner. Using pallets for storing your products also allows our team to efficiently move and store a large amount of your inventory at one time vs having to go through individual products each time we have to pull product for an order.
